There are draughts clubs at every school of Yakutia. Every year there are held tournaments of national scale, where participate hundreds of children. This series was shot in Yakutsk during the annual tournament for the prizes of master of sports N. N. Savvinov, which was attended by more than 300 children from different regions of the Republic. Since 1995 N. N. Savvinov annually holds such competitions in draughts with the prizes which are financed by him.
